Sudbury, mass. Just slightly over 10 pounds unpackaged. This beautifully preserved soil testing kit manufactured by sudbury soil testing laboratroy is in excellent condition considering it's age. The mahogany box has slight damage to the finish, none that detracts from the beauty of the craftsmanship of this original. The remoavble inset tray holds 10 original labeled glass bottles in place with 15 original glass testing tubes and two of the three original glass funnels including the reeve angel filter papers, new york (no. 202) with original label, slightly damaged around the edges, the label and papers measure 3.5 in diameter. There are four double density fiberboard testing cards, printed a-e and include lime, potash, nitrogen, phcsphorus. I've never sene anything quite like this before, a true original from early american industry, in great shape abounding with historical character. A great collector's piece.
